Requirements

  • Looking for a database administrator with 5+ years of support experience

Mission-critical environments in these technologies Compulsory: 
  • PostgreSQL/EDB
  • MS SQL Server
Preferred:
  • AWS RDS
  • AWS Redshift
Optional:
  • Oracle 
  • MySql and cluster MySql
Knowledge of some of these scripting languages is also required: 
  • PSQL
  • TSQL
  • SQL
  • PL/SQL
  • script de shell
  • Perl
  • PowerShell
  • Phyton
  • The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows OS and must be available to work in a team, in hybrid mode and on call (approx. one week per month).
  • An upper-intermediate level (B2) of written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • As part of the team, the new consultant will be responsible for supporting a 360° database layer of various services in different technologies, participate in international projects and have the chance to influence current and future technology choices. nmc​
The ideal candidate has: 
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / Engineering or equivalent work experience.​
  • Strong persuasion and influencing skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively at commercial and technical levels. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • The ability to liaise with different levels of staff within the organization. 
  • Good team player. 
  • You must be motivated to progress in the job. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan and manage work according to deadlines 
  • Pragmatic approach. 
  • Willingness to share experience/knowledge.​
