Description

Schedule: 2x/week at the office, Lisbon.
Banking Sector (Public).
The professional will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting relational and non-relational databases, ensuring the performance, security, and availability of the systems. They will also work on data modeling, integration between platforms, and support for the development team.
Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze existing database systems and identify opportunities for improvement and implementation.
  • Design new data models and optimize existing ones.
  • Develop and optimize cross-platform integration systems (operational databases, data warehouses,
  • repositories, etc.).
  • Support programmers in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Create and maintain data warehouses.
  • Manage database backup and restore policies and tools.
  • Use performance analysis tools and implement optimization measures.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering or similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in database system administration (MySQL, SQL Server,
  • Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in cluster management and replication mechanisms.
  • Professional experience with DevOps tools.
  • Experience with Azure, MongoDB, Oracle, and Power BI Reporting Services.
  • Experience with MicroStrategy.
  • Experience in configuring data warehouses.
  • Experience in Power BI (report creation).
  • Experience in implementing and managing backup/restore policies.
  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization tools.
  • English B2/ Portuguese B2
