Requirements
The Domain Architect is responsible for the target architecture of the Aftermarket & Sales
domain. The role ensures alignment between business strategy, technology, and
enterprise standards by defining architecture roadmaps, governing architectural
decisions, and guiding solution design across the application landscape. The Domain
Architect drives standardization, modernization, and long-term digital transformation.
Responsibilities
– Own and maintain the target architecture for the assigned business domain.
– Translate business strategy into architecture roadmaps and technology
decisions.
– Govern architectural decisions and ensure alignment with Enterprise
Architecture.
– Review and guide solution architectures across projects.
– Drive standardization, simplification, and application modernization.
– Collaborate with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, and Solution
Architects.
– Promote architecture best practices and mentor project teams.
– Support projects with next steps across people, process, and technology,
especially in the context of Cloud initiatives.
– Ensure alignment between project deliverables and overarching domain
architecture strategy.
– Provide standardized guidance and recommendations to project teams on:
o Cloud migration strategies (e.g., lift-and-shift, re-platforming, rearchitecting)
o Architecture design options aligned with cloud best practices
o Evaluation and selection of appropriate cloud services and solutions
– Demonstrate solid understanding of Cloud Technology Strategy, Cloud Principles,
and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
– Actively contributes to Cloud adoption and transformation initiatives within the
domain.
– Collaborate closely with domain leads, architects, and project teams to ensure
consistent architectural direction.
– Provide knowledge sharing, coaching, and upskilling in cloud and architecture
topics.
– Serve as a trusted advisor for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Maintain the landscape within the assigned domain in collaboration with domain
and enterprise architecture teams.
Years of experience
– 7+ years of experience in Enterprise, Domain, or Solution Architecture.
– Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
Functional Skills
– Strong knowledge of Enterprise, Domain, and Solution Architecture.
– Ability to translate business requirements into target architecture.
– Experience with application, integration, and cloud architecture.
– Knowledge of architecture governance, standards, and roadmaps.
– Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Technical Skills
– Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
– Knowledge of API, integration, and event-driven architecture.
– Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Data Platforms).
– Experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., LeanIX).
Soft Skills
– Strong communication and stakeholder management.
– Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
– Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
– Adaptability and strategic vision and thinking.

Languages
– Fluency in English (mandatory).
