Description
Senior AI engineering role within an internal AI enablement team. The resource will define and test reusable AI capabilities, create implementation guidance, support a new AI-enabled software-development lifecycle and facilitate a developer community focused on agents, reusable skills and model-context integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Research, test and develop AI-powered solutions and applications.
- Design, implement and deploy AI agents and reusable model-context integrations.
- Define and test reusable AI skills and produce practical implementation and HOWTO documentation.
- Maintain retrieval-augmented generation solutions and associated data pipelines.
- Develop and manage vector databases, embeddings and semantic-search capabilities
- Integrate and orchestrate multiple large-language-model providers.
- Optimise prompts, token usage and context-management techniques for cost and performance.
- Facilitate the internal AI developer community and identify high-value AI opportunities with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of relevant senior software-development or AI-engineering experience.
- Strong development capability in Node.js and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience creating and deploying AI agents.
- Practical experience implementing RAG systems, vector databases, embeddings and semantic search.
- Experience integrating multiple LLM providers and orchestration approaches.
- Good understanding of prompt engineering, context management and token optimisation.
- French at C1 level.
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial and collaborative working style, with strong curiosity and continuous-learning discipline
Preferred / differentiating requirements
- Experience developing Model Context Protocol integrations or comparable reusable AI interfaces.
- Experience creating reusable AI skills, developer guidance or AI-enabled SDLC standards.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate technical communities and drive adoption of new engineering practices.
