SAP ABAP Developer (Logistics) – Porto | Portugal


Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform custom development activities, including application design, coding, 

testing, documentation, and unit testing.

• Ensure custom developments are carried out based on established standards and 

best practices.

• Collaborate with functional support team to analyze and transform high level 

business requirements into technical design documents, perform high-level 

system design, analysis, and programming tasks, and review and approve design 

and programming deliverables.

• Provide product support to end users, assist with problem determination and 

resolution, and offer training.

• Maintain and improve SAP development tools, including applying technical 

updates in SAP, managing development processes, documenting and testing new 

processes, and troubleshooting problems.

• Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Years of experience

– 3+ years of proven experience in SAP Development.

• Complex IT Solution Development

• Application Change Management

• Project Teamwork

• Documentation & Presentation Skills

• Problem Solving & Incident Resolution

Technical Skills

• ABAP development with emphasis on SAP ERP Logistics (MM/WM/PP/SD/CS, 

EWM).

• Experience with developing Adobe Forms, SMART Forms and SAP scripts.

• Experience with Web Service development (provider and consumer roles).

• Experience in S4 technology stack (CDS, Fiori development).

• REST Programming experience and knowledge of OData and Core Data Services 

(ABAP).

• Experience with Jira and Gitlab.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP EWM Output Management, including configuration and 

enhancement of Post Processing Framework (PPF), Schedule Conditions and 

print form determination. Experience with IDoc development, SAP workflow 

development.

configuration issues.

(Europe, NA, SA, India, China, APAC). Coordinating with external vendors

o Ability to quickly learn new features.

o Flexibility to handle changing business priorities and timelines.

o Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in complex projects 

o Prioritizing critical deliverables under tight schedules.

• Customer-Centric Mindset

o Understanding the impact of subscription and billing processes on 

customer experience.

o Designing solutions that improve efficiency and reduce friction for endusers.

• Negotiation & Stakeholder Management

o Handling discussions on requirements, timelines, and dependencies.

o Aligning technical feasibility with business expectations.

Languages

• Fluency in English (mandatory).
