Description

SAP BW/4HANA Developer responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and 
operating enterprise data warehouse solutions in a modern SAP analytics landscape. The 
role translates reporting and analytics requirements into robust technical solutions and 
integrates data from SAP ERP ECC and other enterprise source systems.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise data warehouse solutions based on SAP 
    BW/4HANA.
  • Model and maintain ADSOs, CompositeProviders, data flows, transformations, 
    DTPs, and process chains.
  • Implement ABAP routines and custom enhancements in the SAP BW environment.
  • Analyze and optimize system performance, data quality, and data load processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics 
    requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support the operation and continuous improvement of SAP BW/4HANA solutions 
    using Eclipse-based development tools.
  • Integrate data from SAP ERP ECC and other enterprise source systems.


Requirements

  • 5-10 Years of relevant experience in SAP BW/4HANA development.
Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and analytics 
    requirements.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling and ETL processes within SAP BW/4HANA.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP ERP ECC, including underlying business processes and 
    data structures.
  • Ability to translate business reporting requirements into reliable technical 
    solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work 
    independently.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Technical Skills
  • SAP BW/4HANA development.
  • SAP BW Modeling Tools (BWMT) and Eclipse-based development.
  • ADSO and CompositeProvider modeling.
  • Data flows, transformations, DTPs, and process chains.
  • ABAP routines and custom enhancements in the BW environment.
  • ODP-based data extraction.
  • SAP HANA.
  • Data modeling, ETL, performance optimization, data quality, and data load 
    processes.
  • Integration with SAP ERP ECC and other enterprise source systems
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent, structured, and responsible working style.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Nice to have:
  • Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or Embedded BPC.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Data Cloud and modern cloud-based analytics 
    architectures
