BI / Data Business Analyst


Requirements

Assignment context Business intelligence and regulatory/compliance reporting environment within a large regulated financial-services organisation. The target landscape includes a three-layer relational model (ODS, DWH and data marts), daily ETL processing through Informatica and Python, and Power BI reporting through tabular or semantic models. 

Key responsibilities

• Gather and clarify business requirements across technical and functional stakeholders.

• Produce functional and technical specifications, test plans, workshop reports and supporting documentation.

• Support project delivery and evolutionary/corrective maintenance from requirements through production deployment.

• Coordinate testing and UAT activities and contribute to application integration and user support.

• Extract, manipulate and analyse data, structure working groups and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. 

Mandatory requirements

• Strong Oracle SQL skills.

• Power BI experience, particularly semantic model design and construction.

• Working knowledge of SSAS and dataflows.

• Strong communication, organisation, planning and stakeholder-management skills.

• Professional written and spoken English, including reporting and documentation.

• Experience with Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Scrum/Kanban, Jira and Confluence.

Preferred / differentiating requirements

• French language proficiency.

• Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Previous experience in banking, compliance or regulatory reporting environments.

Experience :

Approximately 5+ years in BI and data environments
