C# / .NET Backend Developer


Requirements

Assignment context

Backend application-development role using C#, .NET and Microsoft SQL Server within a full-stack, Agile engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain C#/.NET backend components and REST services.

• Work with Microsoft SQL Server and support application integration and data-access needs.

• Apply coding standards, SOLID and KISS principles and participate in pull-request reviews.

• Contribute to Scrum ceremonies, CI/CD pipelines, deployments and releases.

• Support defect resolution, documentation and ongoing engineering improvement. 

Mandatory requirements

• At least two years of professional C#/.NET experience.

• Microsoft SQL Server and backend application-programming experience.

• REST API development and integration.

• Understanding of SOLID and KISS principles and modern development practices.

• Agile and Scrum experience.

• Written and spoken English at minimum B2. 

Preferred / differentiating requirements

• Angular front-end development and Windows Communication Foundation.

• NUnit, xUnit, Elastic, Kibana, Sonar and Checkmarx.

• Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Git, XL Deploy, XL Release and Control-M.

• Jira and Confluence.

Experience

3–6 years; at least 2 years of C#/.NET experience
