Description

Enterprise data-engineering role focused on the design, optimisation and operation of ETL/ELT solutions across data warehouses and data lakes.
Key responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex ETL/ELT solutions across multiple data sources.
  • Develop and optimise advanced SQL for analysis, transformation and validation.
  • Build and maintain data flows using enterprise ETL tooling.
  • Implement data-quality controls, error detection, monitoring and performance optimisation.
  • Translate business requirements into technical data solutions and contribute to data modelling and database design.
  • Automate processing, document architectures and flows, and ensure security and compliance. 


Requirements

  • Strong track record in data engineering and ETL solution design.
  • Advanced SQL for querying, manipulation and relational-database optimisation.
  • Significant experience with at least one of Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Data Integrator, Talend or Stambia.
  • Relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL; NoSQL knowledge is also relevant.
  • Data modelling, including star and snowflake schemas.
  • Independent problem solving, collaboration and clear technical communication.
