Responsibilities
– Define the overall Salesforce B2B Commerce (LWR) architecture, including storefront design, Experience Cloud configuration, data models, and the security model.
– Translate complex B2B commerce requirements into scalable technical designs, focusing on features like account hierarchies, price books, contract pricing, approval workflows, and custom product catalogs.
– Design and oversee the integration architecture utilizing MuleSoft to connect Salesforce with ERP (e.g., SAP), PIM, OMS, Identity Providers, payment gateways, and logistics systems.
– Conduct rigorous technical design reviews, establish secure coding standards, and govern performance optimization across environments.
– Ensure seamless data flow and process alignment between Salesforce B2B Commerce, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
– Establish development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps governance models for Salesforce B2B Commerce projects.
– Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal developers, system integrators, and offshore/onshore teams.
– Support cutover, go-live, and post-launch stabilization, including performance tuning, CDN caching optimization, and issue resolution.
– Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects to ensure the commerce strategy aligns with the broader enterprise technology roadmap.

– 10 years of professional experience.
Functional Skills
– Deep domain expertise in B2B commerce models, with the ability to translate complex business processes (quoting, contract pricing, bulk ordering, custom catalogs) into scalable system designs.
– Proven experience transforming and migrating legacy eCommerce platforms to Salesforce B2B Commerce.
– Strong knowledge of the end-to-end order lifecycle, from storefront browsing to fulfillment and invoicing.
– Experience working in global, multi-brand, multi-country commerce environments.
– Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts to ensure data integrity across CRM, PIM, and B2B Commerce.
– Awareness of cross-cloud data harmonization techniques, including Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly CDP) or multi-org strategies for global enterprises.
– Advantage: Familiarity with complex manufacturing/automotive business models (dealer networks, tiered pricing, spare parts, long product lifecycles).
Technical Skills
– Senior expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce on Core, specifically using LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) and Experience Builder.
– Deep understanding of the core Salesforce architecture, including Sales/Service Cloud data models (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Orders).
– Strong experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flow, and Salesforce REST/GraphQL APIs.
– Knowledge of modern web standards, responsive design principles, and web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) for custom LWC development.
– Solid understanding of API-led connectivity, event-driven architectures, and middleware (hands-on experience designing for MuleSoft is highly preferred).
– Expertise in authentication (OAuth, SSO), sharing rules, permissions, and storefront performance optimization (Salesforce CDN, caching strategies).
– Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools, version control, and modern DevOps practices.
– Expertise in complex data migration strategies, including mapping legacy product catalogs, account structures, and historical order data into Salesforce core data models.
– Strong architecture documentation skills (solution diagrams, integration blueprints, data flow diagrams).
Soft Skills
– Strong leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.
– Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
– Ability to make pragmatic, solution-oriented architectural decisions under constraints.
– Comfortable working collaboratively in international and cross-functional agile teams.
Languages
– Fluency in English (mandatory).

– SAP, MuleSoft, or broader Enterprise Integration Architecture certifications are a strong advantage.
