Senior production-engineering role supporting critical cash and trade applications, with responsibility for operational
resilience, standardisation, automation, industrialisation and documentation.

Key responsibilities
- Integrate new applications and software packages across transactional and batch environments.
- Support production services across incidents, problems, changes, performance, availability and continuity.
- Maintain service levels, mitigate operational disruption and improve application governance.
- Industrialise operational tooling and procedures and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure and security teams.
Requirements
- Strong Linux administration and support experience, with working knowledge of Windows environments. • Control-M or comparable enterprise scheduling and batch-management experience.
- Apache HTTP Server, JBoss and Tomcat; limited IIS knowledge is also relevant.
- Understanding of application architecture, networking, databases, CI/CD, DevSecOps and security principles.
- High autonomy, rigour and effective teamwork.
Preferred / differentiating requirements
- Direct experience supporting cash, trade or other business-critical financial applications.
- Experience driving application standardisation, automation and operational governance.
